Sometimes, it seems as if it's moving at an incredibly fast pace. While time hasn't changed much, however, the way we live our lives has. There's a growing number of things in our lives as we try to decrease anxiety and stress. The art of living in the present is a way to live your life that is achievable through small adjustments to your daily routine. Consider these easy modifications and observe small changes to your mood and your lifestyle.


  • Be grateful for the small things in life. If you take a moment to be satisfied with your achievements, you live in the present. Be aware of things that make you feel happy and be grateful for the things that make you happy, and celebrate them. It can be as easy as you'd prefer. Take the time to experience joy and gratitude during these moments.


  • Create a habit of mindfulness. Meditation is a wonderful method to develop. Spend a few minutes of time lying in a comfortable position and observe your body, breathe and then relax. It can be difficult to silence your thoughts; you can be aware of when your thoughts wander - all you need to do is bring them back on track.


  • Pay attention to your body. Stress is often amplified when we don't pay attention to or counter it. Being aware of your body's needs can help you break the cycle of stress. Your body constantly sends messages, so you need to pay attention to them.


  • Feel your feelings. Accept any emotion that you are experiencing. When you feel your emotions, it is important to acknowledge, as well as investigate, and not identify.


  • Self-reflect. It can take different varieties. Make a point of putting the time for 10 minutes of reflection about your life, your relationships, and your work. Consider the question, "Am I stressed about things I am not able to control?" and make a list of goals to improve these aspects of your life.


  • Go digital-free. Technology can add a lot of stress to your daily routine and your time spent with your family members. Your phone shouldn't own your life. Set limits for yourself by establishing the limits of time on your phone.


  • Clear your calendar. If you're rushing from location to place, it's difficult to be present. Allow yourself some time to relax with your loved ones, and enjoy the time.


Make time for yourself. Do some reading, practice yoga, stroll, and get a massage. This is the right moment to concentrate on your wellbeing.
